Let me briefly introduce myself…
My name is Dirk Schröder, and I discovered my passion for photography in 1983. Landscape photography, in particular, fascinated me from the very beginning! My first "proper" camera was a Contax RTS III. Ultimately, however, I found my perfect camera for landscape photography in the Fujifilm X-T5.
I don't know exactly why, but I caught the photography bug and it hasn't let go! Landscape and architectural photography became my biggest hobby. Soon I started going on photo tours with like-minded people. But it wasn't just photography – the creative possibilities of image editing also captivated me. My motto is: anything goes! I started with the free program GIMP. Now I've been using Lightroom for many years. In the beginning, I bought several books on photography and image editing. But I benefited most from photography blogs. Especially in the beginning, it was extremely helpful when other photographers shared their experiences and knowledge online. Finally, I just want to say THANK YOU for being here on my website !
